Dual Sensor Dial Thermometers

Provides independent mechanical and electronic output from a single installation. This gives the user manual "fail safe" monitoring with continuous accuracy confirmation of the electronic control system. The user then has the opportunity to react to inaccuracy problems when they occur.

This combination of traditional instrumentation with computerized monitoring makes the DUAL SENSOR Thermometer the choice for accurate and reliable temperature indication. The DUAL SENSOR is interchangeable with existing Industrial Type thermowells thus electrical sensing is accomplished without any mechanical change in the process plumbing, saving material and labor costs.

Real time calibration checks can be performed with a calibrated hand held electronic unit. Critical temperature is maintained by mechanically setting the reset gear at one point for zero error. The factory will sentry seal the reset gear so that evidence of tampering can be detected. It is also versatile since a data logger can easily be hooked up converting the indicator into a temperature recorder.

The sensors are available in either a Platinum RTD or Type K Thermocouple, with standard mini-jack or 1/2" conduit connection with terminal block. Other options are available.

Form:	Fully adjustable-angle and rotatable dial face.
Case:	Type 302 Stainless Steel. 5" Dial.
Stem:	Type 303 Stainless Steel.
Stem Lengths:	3.5", 6", 8",12". Longer stem available upon request.
Fitting:	1-1/4" - 18 swivel nut.
Dial Face:	Black lines and numbers on white background. Black pointer. Linear scale.
Crystal:	Heavy molded glass cover and thick gasket sealed. Waterproof. Plexiglas optional.
Bulb:	.625" (15.9mm) diameter stem, tapered bulb chamber to .437" (11.1 mm).
System:	Direct drive coil. Liquid Actuated up to 500 deg. F, Mercury Actuated from 600 to 1200 deg. F. Case compensated for ambient temperatures.
Sensor:	Type K Thermocouple or Platinum RTD. Other types available upon request.
Connection:	Industry standard mini-jack on back of case. Optional, 1/2" conduit fitting with terminal block.
Calibration:	External calibration screw on back of case. Electronic Sensor calibrated an your equipment.
Accuracy:	Filled system within one scale division. T/C or RTD accuracies within one scale division.

Dual Sensor Industrial Thermometer

This combination of Mercury-In-Glass Industrial Thermometer which is a primary standard, with computerized monitoring makes the DUAL SENSOR Thermometer the choice for accurate and reliable temperature indication, where no compromises can be made. The DUAL SENSOR is interchangeable with existing Industrial Type thermowells thus electrical sensing is accomplished without any mechanical change in the process plumbing, saving material and labor costs.

The Industrial Thermometer continuously monitors the electronic sensor to guarantee system accuracy. It is also versatile since a data logger can easily be hooked up converting the indicator into a temperature recorder.

The sensors are available in either a Platinum RTD or Type K Thermocouple, with standard mini-jack or 1/2" conduit connection with terminal block. Other options are available.

Dual Sensor Industrial Thermometer
Form:	All Angle, Straight, 900 Back Angle, Left or Right Side Mount.
Case:	Extruded Brass, Satin Chrome Finish. Removable glass front, brass snap-on cap. Black lines and numbers on baked white enamel finish. Regular Glass, or Borosilicate Glass also available.
Lens Tube:	Each Thermometer is thoroughly annealed and aged to insure permanent accuracy. It is then individually calibrated with a standard NIST certified test thermometer.
Stem:	Type 303 Stainless Steel.
Stem Lengths:	3.5", 6", 8", 12". Longer stem available upon request.
Fitting:	1-1/4-18 NEF-2 brass swivel nut engages thermometer into a well, union connection or flanged fitting.
Bulb Chamber:	Stainless Steel. Tapered bulb chamber provides metal-to- metal contact for better speed of response.
System:	Liquid Actuated up to 500 deg. F, Mercury Actuated from 600 to 1200 deg. F. Case compensated for ambient temperatures.

The external recalibration screw, or adjustable pointer feature (on Replaceable Element only) permits the setting for zero calibration error at any desired temperature within range of the thermometer.
