With a horizontal inlet and an exit at 90° to the inlet in the vertically "downwards" direction, the filter is all cast construction and the main body is fixed in the pipeline. Like the High Pressure Filter, the cover is bolted to the main body with the element and scraper blade assembly attached to the cover. Clearance is required above the filter for maintenance.
